To consider

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Rate included with 2 tickets (per room) of New Year’s Non-Stop Mega Party 2024 to our room package for 31 December 2023. Additional person will be chargeable at RM 299.00nett per adult & RM 99.00nett per child aged 7 to 12 years old whereby guests will pay direct to hotel upon check-in.

What was the highlight of The Pacific Sutera

Exceptionally wonderful stay!

Enjoyed the pool a lot. It is clean and I can see the staff took care to maintain the pool cleanliness everyday. At certain hours there are pool exercises conducted by the staff with music. So relaxing by poolside. Evening swim during sunset is lovely.

There is no shuttle bus service to town. The town is only 10 to 15 minutes away. However, calling Grab ride is cheap and no hassle at all.

It was an enjoyable and relaxing holidays and visiting places of interests

Great varieties of delicious breakfast. Staff n cleanliness of hotel environment commendable. Location of hotel near to city centre n many big new malls. Easy transportation. Every evening we soaked ourselves in the awesome sunset by the beach right in front of the hotel!

All as expected. No complaints.

Great stay but spoiled by low quality breakfast.

Room is spacious with great view. Very peaceful area. There are lot of facilities in the resort and the clubhouse can be enjoyed by hotel guest.

The breakfast buffet. I won’t say it’s really bad, but very close to that. The spread is mediocre, the taste really not up to my expectation considering the room rate and star of the hotel. The quality of the food can be improved more.

Clean and refreshing

Having to pay extra one night extra bed upon checking out because I did not inform staff to remove the bed on third night. I already pre-paid the extra bed first 2 nights of my 3 nights stay. Never thought I am supposed to inform staff to remove the extra as I though they know since I paid only 2 nights.

What was the highlight of The Pacific Sutera

Resort hotel in a great location for visiting nearby islands for snorkelling and bathing.

Resort style hotel, nice pool, albeit very shallow- however you can use the pools at the sister properties that are deeper. We were there over Christmas so it was busy but the hotel seemed to cope reasonably well.Location great and handy for catching boats to the nearby islands. The beachside bar is lovely and had friendly staff and does great sundowners.

I really didn’t like all the signage stuck up everywhere telling you what you can and can’t do- particularly noticeable at reception. It really breaks the zen of a place and was quite ugly. The breakfasts were ridiculously busy and were a large resort style buffet with lots of choices, we just didn’t love it as it was too busy and too many little children touching food. It sells itself a. 5* hotel- but I would dispute this. It’s got quite grotty dining chairs and it’s a hotel that’s a bit long in the tooth. It really needs a modern revamp and overhaul of some of its facilities. The dining chairs for example are dated, dirty and have satin style covers with sash bows. It’s just a bit tired in places. I live in Hong Kong and I think our definition of 5* luxury hotel is something a cut above than here.

Wonderful experience and would certainly stay here again on our next trip.

Excellent spread for breakfast! Pool is huge and life guards were always present. The island counter in the pool serves good food and drinks. There's another food cafe a short distance away, overseeing the sea. Scenery is just beautiful!

VALUE FOR THE MONEY

overall everything meets expectation. Unfortunetaley I got no time to enjoy the sky bar and facilities this stay due to full schedule. Will definitely be back and try the facilities for my next trip.

Check in time is very late, I arrived at 1pm and was told that the room is ready at 3pm. We returned for check in at 3pm , yet still was informed that king size bed is not available. On the next day, my friend check in time was after 4pm.

Clean, cosy, comfortable and friendly staffs.

Pacific Sutera is probably the best location for those who wish to be in the city center either for business or leisure. We stayed here for a function and tennis. The covered is located next door and is a bonus especially in the tropic.

4 days, 3 nights stay to relax and unwind with my husband - I'd say these goals were achieved.

Entrance and lobby - beautiful Check in - easy and staff was friendly Room (Queen) - Spacious room and toilet, enough storage and power sockets, 2 bottles of water available daily (We opted out of room service, but they supplied the water anyway!). Bed was very comfortable Breakfast buffets - were exceptional! Multiple choices, and menu was different daily Opted for italian dinner buffet - good value for money (Even the other buffet nights and lunches seemed tantalising, but we wanted to eat out and tried other local restaurants and cafes - many available!) Garden and pool area - well maintained and services were great Activities - Didn't opt for these, but I went to see the prices to visit the islands and water sport activities and they were fairly priced Check out - efficient

Room (Queen) - Stayed in 809. It was NOT soundproof, and we could hear the people next door in the adjoining room. Pillows were too soft, found it difficult to sleep. Unable to crack open the window, so only relied on the central airconditioning for ventilation - not great for the sinuses and the brain. Shower - Some mold in the tiling. Understand that they are marble i think with cracks, but please do try ways to scrub these off. If these were rectified, I think the stay would have been perfect!

Its luxury, and its clean. the view is amazing. Its also close to the airport.

You can’t order in, no grab or outside food, which I find a bit inconvinient. The beach is only a small part of the hotel, and also there was a diaper on the beach.

Wonderful

The hotel has a big territory with pools, clean and beautiful. I had a spacious room with the sea view. Buffet breakfast with big assortment of dish was included. Staff was friendly and smiling, helping around. Hotel has a private beach which is not so big. Although it is close to the harbor, the water is clean, and you can swim and snorkel there with no problem. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay there.

There was garbage on the private beach, so I picked it up sometimes. I wish staff can pay more attention to beach cleaning. From the hotel it was difficult to go to the town because there is no place to walk by feet, had to use taxi all the time.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It’s truly stunning! The design, the furnishings, the staff, it was all wonderful! The pool area is gorgeous! Cafe BOLEN : Breakfast & dinner were delicious. Food is plentiful and fresh. For the price, it is excellent value. The staff were so friendly and nice. Special thanks - Sanipa , Wahab , Hamizan .
